I am a historical country maven. 

What is that?  Well, a maven is a person who is experienced or knowledgeable in a particular subject.  I have been interested in, studied, and portrayed living history for over 25 years!  Yikes!  But I also have a love of the simple country life.  I live on a hobby farm and love growing my own food and preserving it, keeping animals and chickens, foraging for food, knitting and spinning wool, baking sourdough bread from my starter that is 5 years old, reading and writing prose, and so much more- all of which is all quite historical isn't it?
